The Oceanside Christopher Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1969 at Fr. Joseph O'Connell Knights of Columbus Council, Oceanside, New York to provide financial service to Knights of Columbus members and their families. Today any Knights of Columbus member in New York State can become a member of our Credit Union. Any Knights of Columbus Council outside of New York can become part of our field of membership by calling 516-620-8006.
The Board of Oceanside Christopher Federal Credit Union has pledged to do everything it can to provide the highest interest rates on deposits, the lowest loan rates, minimal fees, and the best possible service.
Our Credit Union puts people above profits and our Catholic values are at the heart of everything we do. Oceanside Christopher Federal Credit Union is today the largest and strongest fraternal credit union in the country.
We are a non-profit financial institution providing safe government insured accounts. Members exercise their ownership through a democratically elected, volunteer Board of Directors, who establish all policies of the Credit Union. Management implements these policies to ensure a proficient and effectual financial environment. Our professional staff of member representatives and loan officers provide daily services to its membership. We are an organization built on the philosophy of people helping people.
