Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) was founded in 1954 by the employees of International Paper Company in Corinth, New York as IPCO Federal Credit Union. Today, Hudson River Community Credit Union is a state-chartered community credit union. That is, anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or a business or legal entity, such as churches, associations, etc., located within Saratoga, Warren, Washington, Rensselaer counties or the Towns of Cohoes, Watervliet or Green Island are eligible to join.

Hudson River Community Credit Union's mission is to provide quality services to improve the financial well-being of members and their families. The Credit Union is a unique not-for-profit and member-owned financial institution.

As a member of HRCCU, you are more than a number. You're an owner of a not-for-profit financial cooperative -- an association with a strong, shared commitment to the financial well being of its members. Although other financial institutions need to generate profits to satisfy stockholders, credit unions are different. Our credit union returns excess earnings to its members in the form of:

•Competitive dividend rates paid on savings and investment accounts.
•Low interest rates on loans and credit cards.
•Exceptional low-cost financial products and services.
•Low or no service charges.
