The Clarence Community & Schools Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit member owned and operated financial institution established to meet the needs of its members and their families.

The Credit Union was started October 13, 1954 by a number of teachers, two clerical employees, a custodian and an administrator.

These forward thinking individuals pooled their savings through payroll deductions so members could borrow money at favorable rates. The money earned from loans paid dividends (interest) to the savers. This same concept still exists today. As of January 2009, we have over 2,500 members with assets in excess of $12,000,000. We remain committed to anticipating and satisfying the financial needs of our members and their families. We strive to be the best place for our members to save their hard earned money and to borrow from when the need arises.
In addition, we want to provide the services and conveniences that our members want and deserve.

SERVICES

Share Savings Account
A Share Savings Account is budget-friendly and a great way to strengthen your finances and enjoy availability of funds. Start earning dividends with a minimum balance of $25.

Sub-Share Savings Account
A budgeting too available to help members save on a regular basis for something specific, like auto insurance, taxes or a special trip. That way the money to pay that large expense is available when you need it.

Club Accounts
Get ready for the holidays or a vacation by directing a few dollars every pay period to your club account and make your holidays, vacations finacially stress-free.

We offer online banking, which allows you to go on the Credit Union's website and log onto your account to see what you have in your accounts and transfer money between savings and checking accounts.

Bill Pay
Per your request, we can set you up with the ability to pay your bills online. No more stamps, envelopes, or late payment fees to worry about from then on.

Credit Cards
We offer VISA Credit Cards with rates as low as 8.99% APR.

CD & IRA Share Certificates
We offer 1, 2, 3, and 4 year CD's with a minimum balance of $1000 and competitive interest rates.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)
For anyone planning the future, there are three letters of recommendation - IRA. Whether you are just starting out, raising a family or approaching retirement, IRA's offer tremendous advantages. Talk about the incredible tax-saving possiblities with your tax advisor.
Traditional IRA. Tax deferred growth and the potential for tax-deductible contributions.
Roth IRA. Qualified distributions are tax-free and penalty free. Roth IRAs are not subject to post 70 required distributions.
Coverdell Education Savings. Contribute up to $2000 a year for each child. Withdrawals for qualified higher education expenses are tax-free. (Subject to IRS change)

We offer competitive rates on all our Auto Loans, Recreational Vehicle Loans, Personal Loans, Home Equity Loans, Tax Advantage Loans and 1st and 2nd Mortgages. Also available now are Federal Student, Parent Plus Loans and Consolidation Loans for College.

As times change, the services we provide you need to change. As another convenience, you can now send Western Union Money Transfers. Faster and cheaper than a wire transfer, the Western Union funds are available to the recipient usually within the hour.
