Bank of Smithtown is a 100 year old community bank headquartered in Hauppauge, New York, with 23 branches located across Long Island and in New York City. The Bank's new branch program has been very successful in recent years. Last year, the Bank opened four new branches that collected more than $186 million in deposits. So far in 2009, the Bank has opened four additional new branches, and the Bank's deposits have grown by more than $400 million. The Bank plans to open five more new branches by year-end.
